Help Preserve the Present, for the Future!
Frontier Status is in the process of forming a non-profit corporation. We
have a number of needs and you can help! We need talent, equipment and
funds to preserve the archive.
Here is what you can do to help.
Become a writer! Frontier Status is always looking for people to report on
space-related events. As with other Frontier Status entries, the articles
should be short -- one or two paragraphs. We are also looking for writers
for regular features such as "History", "Coming Events", "Shuttle" and
others. Sign up, donate an hour or two and see your name in lights.
Equipment: Frontier Status is in need of more memory and faster computers.
If you have just upgraded, maybe your old system can help us out. We are
currently accepting systems above 200 Mhz in both Mac and Windows
environments.
Membership: We hope to become a member-supported organization. If you have
experience creating membership from scratch, we need your help.
Sales: When we get our IRS non-profit charity status cleared, we hope to
begin approaching corporations for donations to the cause. We need
individuals to show these corporations why they should preserve the present
for the future.
Donations: Frontier Status has been going out for five years. A sizable
archive of space related materials has been collected and indexed. We now
need funds to assure the preservation of these materials for the future and
to educate the public on the space frontier.
